Romkaew Broehm to Present at BIT’s World Congress of Smart Energy

Brattle Principal Romkaew Broehm will present at BIT Congress, Inc.’s World Congress of Smart Energy, taking place November 2-4, 2017 in Wuxi, China.

The event aims to provide a platform for professionals around the world to exchange state-of-the-art research and development and identify research needs and opportunities in the field of smart energy. The event will cover a wide range of topics related to smart energy technology, frontiers of energy storage technology and new energy.

Dr. Broehm will present “U.S. Federal and State Regulations: Opportunities and Challenges for Electricity Storage (ES).” She will examine several key opportunities and challenges posed to ES that need to be address for its successful implementation in the U.S. organized wholesale electricity markets. Dr. Broehm will also discuss the emerging importance of an agent for both enhancing the value of competitive electricity markets and helping customers to navigate the increasingly complex electricity markets.
